Dear ProMED Community,
As many of you are aware, over the past several months we have been diligently working on the creation of the ProMED subscription model, speaking with and receiving feedback from many of you, our users, and working to ensure ProMED’s sustainability.
Update:
We will be initiating a phased rollout of the new model in the coming weeks. We are currently in the testing phase, fine-tuning the new interface to ensure a seamless user experience. The initial rollout will be a soft launch. You will be directed to create an account and log in credentials, but will not be charged for access.
In early 2024, we will invite our users to choose a paid subscription from 4-5 different subscription tiers, allowing varying levels of access and data use. We anticipate being able to share the details of the subscription model before the end of this year, and will provide that information to you as soon as it is finalized. Likewise, we will share the dates of the different rollout phases as soon as they are finalized.
We hope that you will actively participate in this transition and share your thoughts. We will provide information in future communications on how you can share your feedback, ensuring that your insights shape the evolution of ProMED. Your contributions will play a crucial role in making ProMED even more valuable to the global community.
Please stay tuned for more information and updates as we approach the soft launch. Our goal is to ensure that ProMED remains the global trusted source of timely and accurate information on emerging diseases.
Thank you for being a part of ProMED.
Warm regards,
Julia Maxwell
Director of Disease Surveillance
